I've been using Astro Panel in my editing workflow now for almost a year. This software is a powerful plug-in for Adobe Photoshop for post production of landscapes, cityscapes, nightscapes, milky way, startrails and deep sky images.

Astro Panel will allow you to merge images to create a beautiful silky effect, merge shots for startrails, perform deep sky stacking, in an extremely fast way and with a revolutionary Dual Pass alignment algorithm specifically developed for star alignment and which allows their alignment with surprising accuracy and speed. You can produce magnificent HDR photos of the deep sky from the stack of three image sets. With the latest updates we have introduced image fusion for focus stacking, classic HDR and HDR multi-exposure at night.

As an Astrophotographer I really need to trust my equipment especially my editing software and Astro-Panel allows me to establish what I need to create were with just a few clicks one can retain an exceptional and clean image.

Astro Panel has 4 different Panel functions that they are very powerful For Astro & Landscape Photography :

PRO PANEL :

From this section we can modify any type of photography, from astrophotography to the landscape.

• COLOR CORRECTION PRO, that are controls for color correction, white balance and color saturation.

• IMAGE CORRECTION PRO are commands for correcting artefacts and defects that affect all digital images.

• HOT PIXEL PRO is a set of functions to automatically remove "Hot Pixels".

• SHARPNESS PRO is a group of semi-automatic functions that increase image sharpness.

• RECOVERY PRO is a set of automatic functions to recover lights and shadows in a single click.

• EFFECTS PRO adds effects to our images to improve the final result or give that touch that is missing.

• GLOW EFFECTS contains four adjustments to create the final Glow effect on your photo. 

• ORTON EFFECTS contains four adjustments to create the final Orton effect on your photo. 

• D&B EFFECTS, the Dodge and Burn, is a photographic technique entirely dedicated to light management. Through these functions you can "dodge and burn" your image. 

ASTRO PANEL :

This is dedicated to Astro Photography , Below are some tools that I often use to correct my images:

• AUTOMATIC PROCESS, this group contains two automatic functions that transform your astronomical photo in just one click.

• FIRST STEP is the first group because it contains essential functions that the user should do when opening the image in Photoshop.

• FALSE FLAT automatically removes, in two steps, the "unpleasant" gradient that we find in our astronomical photos. 

• STRECHING IMAGE is a group composed of two commands that serves to extrapolate the hidden signal of the Milky Way / Deep Sky contained in the photo.

• STAR TOOLS are six functions, each with its own task, and all work on the stars. 

• ENHANCE-SHARPNESS is a set of commands used in astrophotography that amplifies the nebulosity or details of the Milky Way or deep sky objects.

• COLOR BALANCE is a set of color management tools. We can adjust the color temperature.

• STARTRAIL group contains functions to edit star trail and change tonality of colors.

TOOLS PANEL :

This section contains a lot of features such as luminosity masks that are really efficient while editing landscape photography , as you are directing areas for editing.

• LUMINOSITY/COLOR MASKS divided into Lights, Midtones and Shadows. At the top right we have the eyedropper that allows us to query any area of the image and in real time understand which luminosity mask to use.

• RESIZE IMAGES as desired either for saving locally, for printing or for the web.

• WATERMARK, add your watermark to our image before posting on social media.

• QUICK ADJUSTMENTS, we would no longer need to adjust the opacity of the layer, the nuance and density of the mask because we could do it directly from the panel .

• QUICK TOOLS like Forward and Back, the Quick White Mask, Curve Level and Tonal Values, White Brush and Black Brush, Hue / Saturation and Color Balance have been optimized compared to the previous version.

FUSION PANEL :

Fusion is a special feature in Astro Panel that Merge any type of image.

The features of Fusion make Astro Panel unique in its kind. It is a concentrate of perfect technology for merging your images in Adobe Photoshop CC. There is no plug-in for Adobe Photoshop CC that allows you to merge images.
